CATALOG TRANSFER

How to transfer your releases from another distributor to ALOADED.

1. Upload your catalogue in the ALOADED Label Login. Check out the upload guide! It’s important to make sure the metadata (especially ISRCs) remains the same when submitting to us, so that play counts and playlisting remain intact.

      • To be 100% sure you don’t lose your stream counts, related artists or playlists:
          1. Song titles, artist name and artwork should be identical
          2. Audio files need to be identical. (Also track length and format).
          3. Release type needs to be identical (Single, EP, Album)
          4. Use the original ISRC and UPC numbers
          5. Original release date needs to be identical

2. We will Quality Check you upload and deliver the catalogue to Spotify, Apple and all other DSPs. We will be in touch if there are any issues.

3. To avoid a break in sales during the transfer, please ensure your releases are live on services via ALOADED before issuing a takedown from your previous distributor. (In Spotify this can be seen as "1 more release" when viewing a product – make sure the play stats has been synced as well). You want to take down the previous release only AFTER the new one is live .

4. In some cases – especially when transferring your catalog from the services Amuse and Record Union, you might have to issue the takedowns before we can upload to the Streaming platforms. Normally this does not affect the stats on Spotify, although the release might be unavailable for a few hours.

MORE META DATA DETAILS
